March 17, 1932 — January 15, 2013

Floyd "Pat" Wright 25 Riverlawn Avenue Rochester, NH left this earthly life on Jan. 15, 2013. He was born to Floyd & Georgie Mae in Miami, Fl. March 17, when he was given the nick name "Pat" by his Grandfather. Joining the Air Force at 17, he served for 27 years retiring as an S/SMSgt from the 509th OMS at Pease AFB March 1978. Pat was a peaceful, patient person, respecting nature and his fellow man. He enjoyed reading, gardening, fishing, hunting and Celtic's basketball! With the diagnoses of celiac disease, he added baking gluten-free bread to his accomplishments. He leaves his best friend and wife of 35 years, Martha; daughters Joy and Renee Wright of Rochester; his daughter-in-law Carol, and her husband Mike LaFiandra, and grandchildren Jacob, Andrew, and Rebecca of Bel Air, MD. His brother-in-law and sister-in-law Richard and Diane Mac Donald, nephew, Dan of Wells, ME. His sister-in-law Grace and nieces and nephew Patricia, Joanne and David and their families of San Antonio, TX. He was predeceased by his parents, brother, Calvin, granddaughter, Mandy and son, Michael. The family acknowledges the many hospitals and doctors who offered their expertise and care over the years, especially Dr. Girish Joshi. A special thanks to Kindred Rehab and Beacon Hospice for Pat's most recent care. Family viewing will be held at the R.M. Edgerly and Son Funeral Home, 86 S. Main Street Rochester, NH on Sunday, January 27. Friends please join the family Monday, Jan. 28 at 1 pm for services in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will be in the warmth of spring. As we go forward, remember Pat's favorite saying "slow and easy". In lieu of flowers you are encouraged to donate for Celiac research to: Center for Celiac Research Mass.
