Farmington, NH- Francis William Conley, known by all as "Bill", 90, formerly of 527 Meaderboro Road died Monday Jan. 31, 2011 at Wentworth-Douglas Hospital in Dover after a brief illness. Born May 23, 1920 in Greenville Junction , ME on Moosehead Lake, he was the son of the late Francis Patrick and Barbara (Yeaton) Conley. Bill has resided in Farmington since 1972, previously living in Durham NH and Long Island, NY. He served his country in the Army Air Corps during WWII and flew 30 missions with a B24 during 1943-1944. He later was a pilot for 35 years for Transworld Air Lines. Prior to retiring, he bought a tree farm in Farmington and started to prepare it for his lifelong dream of owning and operating Conleys Christmas Tree Farm which he devoted many years to. He was a member of the New England Christmas Tree Growers Organization. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing hiking and taking walks on his property.
