Francis E. Gilman

Rochester, NH- Francis E. Gilman, 91, of Milton Road passed away Tuesday July 24, 2018 at Bellamy Fields in Dover, NH after a brief illness. Born July 31, 1926 in Bridgton, ME he was the son of Elmore and Harriette (Clark) Gilman. He was a graduate of Gould Academy Bethel, ME, the University of Maine and Extension Professor Emeritas University of NH. Francis was a WWII veteran serving in the Merchant Marines and Army as radio operator. He is survived by his wife Jean L. (Fellows) Gilman; five children, Dale (Carol) Gilman, Glenn (Jackie) Gilman of Phoenix, AZ., beloved daughters, Lisa A. West of Honolulu, HI and Krista Pulire of South Berwick, ME.; stepson, Michael (Cindy) Pulire of Scarborough, ME.; grandchildren, Charles (Courtney) Pulire, Nicholas (Jillian) Pulire, Jessica (Shawn) Gibbons, Jacob (Shyla) West, Kayla (Matt) Belanger, Emily Ouellette and nine great grands.
