Frank A. Barker, Sr.

Rochester - Frank A. Barker, Sr. 78, passed away Monday October 28, 2013 surrounded by family. Born March 1, 1935 in Lynn, MA he was the son of the late George and Eva (Doane) Barker. Mr. Barker served in the US Army during the Korean War and later worked for more than 30 years as a Maintenance Coordinator for the University of New Hampshire. Frank loved sports especially watching football and baseball, and also enjoyed listening to his scanner. Members of his family include his children Evamarie Porter and husband David and Thomas Barker and wife Ruth all of Colorado Springs, CO; Kelly Whitten and husband Doug of Rochester, NH; Cynthia Kennard and husband Patrick of Nottingham, NH; Tracy LaMontagne and husband Thomas of Strasburg, PA; Patricia Barker and Tim Legere of Somersworth, NH; and Frank Barker, Jr. of Sebring, FL; nine grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
