Frank Hollis Bryer Jr.

NORTHWOOD - Frank Hollis Bryer, Jr, 85, died peacefully with his daughter at his side on Tuesday, June 26, 2018.  He was born February 6, 1933 in Saugus, Mass., the son of the late Frank and Ella (Gunnison) Bryer.  He resided in Saugus until the death of his loving wife of 36 years Jackie, and then moved to NH where his children lived.  He spent a long period of time living at his cottage in Groton, NH and also lived in Somersworth, Northwood, Wolfeboro, and lastly at Mountain View Community in Ossipee, NH after a period of declining health. Frank retired in 1992 from Henkel Corporation in Saugus, formerly known as Eastern Oil.  He had worked at this location for over 30 years.  Frank enjoyed plowing snow for the town of Saugus.   He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed country music, bluegrass and Billy's banjo playing. Frank loved gardening, camping, traveling and his special trip driving across the country and up to Alaska with Jackie.  He loved any job that a friend or family member had going and was always available to lend a hand. Frank enjoyed his trucks, travel trailers and of course his tractor. The widower of Jacqueline (Patterson) Bryer, he is survived by his children, Scott Bryer and wife Cynthia, Debbie Yeaton and her husband Brian, Bill Bryer and his wife Kelly;  grandchildren,  Evan Yeaton, Zachary Yeaton, Taylor Bryer and Emma Bryer; a sister Jean Cottrell.  He was preceded in death by two sons, David and Frank (Randy) H. Bryer, III and his sisters Muriel Adams and her husband Frank and Carol Ashley and her husband James. Family and friends are invited to "A Celebration of Life" on July 6, 2018 at 1 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church, 34 S.
