Rochester NH-Fred Chisholm, 89, of Franklin St. died Friday October 21, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born July 25, 1927 in Rochester, NH; he was the son of the late Clyde and Hattie (Rolfe) Chisholm. Fred was a life-long resident of Rochester. He attended Spaulding High School, where he played on the 1943-44 State Championship baseball team. He continued his love of baseball and sports serving as President of both the Rochester Little League Baseball Association and The Rochester Community Activity Association. He served in the United States Navy during WWII where he was a Sea-Bee and consequently injured in Okinawa. After WWII he entered the civilian service working as a Deputy Accounting and Finance Officer at Pease Air Force Base and for his hard work and commitment he received a Meritorious Civilian Service Award.
