Frederick W. Greaves

Retired MSgt Frederick W. Greaves Sr. age 85, of Rochester died Saturday March 12, 2022 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital. Born March 9, 1937, in Sanford, Maine, he was the son of the late James and Katherine (Lees) Greaves Sr. He married the love of his life Sandra in 1981. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for 41 years and also served in law enforcement becoming Chief of Police in Sanford, Maine. After retiring Frederick and Sandra enjoyed traveling in their motorcoach where they made many friends along the way. He was a member of the Granite Staters, NH Blazers Motorcoach Association, and the Good Sam's Club. He also enjoyed cooking, watching the Red Sox and Patriots, making puzzles and model airplanes. Some of his favorite memories were decorating and hosting his annual Halloween party. He loved turning his house and garage into a spooky world for all to enjoy.
