Gail Susan Martin

Gail Susan (Taylor) Martin passed away peacefully at home on May 22, 2021 surrounded by her family and best friend. Gail was born on January 11, 1953, the daughter of Kenneth and Ruth (Babb) Taylor. Gail grew up in Rochester, NH and graduated from Spaulding High School in 1971. She worked in the local shoe industry for many years and became the Footwear Developer at Timberland which included extensive travel to Asia and Europe. Gail walked away from Timberland and went back to college to pursue her dream of teaching. She became a well-respected teacher in the Rochester School system and retired from the Gonic School in 2020. Gail enjoyed gardening, volunteering at Roger Allen Park and vacationing with family Mark and Patty Taylor and Mike and Cathie Taylor. Gail was a member of the Rochester Elks Lodge #1393 where she also loved volunteering her time to community efforts.
