Gail Lynne Milanese Higgins

Gail Lynne Milanese-Higgins, 63, of Ellicott City, MD was called home to the Lord peacefully while at home on July 24, 2014. She was the daughter of Edgar F. and Madeline (Parker) Raab and raised in East Rochester, NH, graduating in the Spaulding High School class of 1968. Gail is survived by her loving husband, James Robert Higgins, Jr. of Ellicott City, MD; her son, Jason (and Blaire) Milanese; grandchildren, Ella Rose and Hunter Raymond Milanese; stepsons James Robert Higgins III and William Taylor Higgins; her mother, Madeline Raab; brother, Donald (and Susan) Raab; sister, Elizabeth (and Eric) Willard; and sister, Jacqueline Raab. Gail had many friends and family who supported her along her 18-month journey with glioblastoma mulitforme (brain cancer). Many of her lifelong friends were made during her 35-year banking career which culminated at Chevy Chase Bank (now acquired by Capital One).
