George Cochrane

Rochester - George R. Cochrane, 86, passed away Thursday December 2, 2010 at his home following a period of failing health. Born April 24, 1924 in South Berwick, ME he was the son of the late Henry and Winnie (Donnell) Cochrane. Mr. Cochrane worked as a carpenter and millwright for many years for the Union 921. He was a member of the Elks Lodge 1393, and the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Millwrights. He was a loving father, husband, and Pepere. His laugh filled the room and hearts of people around him. Members of his family include his daughter Candace Phillips and her husband James of Rochester, NH; four grandchildren Rosemary, Patrick, Ronald and Pamela, nine great grandchildren Charlene, Bert and his wife Kathlyn, Christina and her fiancé Macky, Patrick, Krystal and her husband Kenny, Rick, Danielle, Brianna, and Amy Rose and her fiancé Matt, eight great great grandchildren Tianna, Alden, Cadence, Tiana, Madison, Ethan, Summer, and Denny his loving niece Joanne Drouin and husband Leon of Dover,...
