George Rollie Everard

Everard, George Rochester- George Rollie Everard, 71, of 165 Jamey Drive, passed away peacefully, with loved ones by his side on June 1, 2010 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. Born Novemeber 7, 1938 in Marlborough, NH. He was the son of the late Ludger J. and Dasie (Stoodley) Everard. He entered the U.S. Air Force in 1955 and served in the Vietnam Conflict in 1970. He later retired at Pease AFB after 20 years of service. He then worked for the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in shop 38, retiring in 1993. After this George worked for Fosters Daily Democrat until his illness in 2000. George enjoyed to go on cruises and was never afraid to start up a conversation.
