ROCHESTER - George Hussey, 76, of 4 French-Hussey Road, passed away Nov. 15, 2009, at the Frisbie Memorial Hospital.He was born Nov. 7, 1933, to George V. and Gladys Y. (Lessard) Hussey. He was born and resided in Rochester all of his life. He attended Rochester schools and enlisted in the National Guard in 1950. He then joined the U.S. Air Force from 1952 to 1956 and was stationed in Michigan and Okinawa, Japan. He married Louise M. (Massingham) Hussey in 1951. He worked at Hollis Lumber and then Spaulding Fibre for 20 years. He also worked for Midway Excavating and was a special police officer for the Rochester Fair.He enjoyed the many family gathering, his grand-puppies, his trips up north and his special friends at Dunkin Donuts. He was a member of the American Legion Post 7.He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Louise; his three children, Kay Hobbs and husband, Maurice, George A.
