George Arnold Larmie

Middleton, NH- George Arnold Larmie, 72, of 47 Adams Way died Friday March 3, 2017 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital after a brief illness. He was born May 14, 1944 in Windsor, VT the son of the late George P. and Mary (Blanchard) Larmie. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army retiring after 22 years. George has resided in Middleton for the past year, previously living in Stratham, NH.  He was a member of the AMVETs Post 1 and was an active Pease Greeter who was in charge of the color guard.   Members of his family include his wife of 52 years, Judith Larmie; his children, Keith and wife Kimberly Larmie, Lona LeClerc and husband John, Michael Larmie and wife Ting Wang; grandchildren, Aubrey and Jacob.   Family and friends may visit Tuesday March7, 2017 from 4:30-7:30PM at the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester, NH. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 11AM in the chapel of the funeral home, with Pastor John Hillman officiating.
