George Lovejoy

Barrington, NH- George A. Lovejoy, 83, of 638 Scruton Pond Road died Thursday Feb. 5, 2015 at his home after a long illness. He was born May 24, 1931 in Portland, OR the son of the late John H. and Jennie (Stevens) Lovejoy. He was a graduate of Spaulding high School, Class of 1949 and served four years in the U.S. Navy as a cook during the Korean War and six years in the reserves. George was a real estate broker and owned and operated his business, Lovejoy Real Estate. He was a member of the Milton Assembly of God Church. George had a love for his country and was well known for his fight for lower taxes and conservative causes in New Hampshire.
