George Michael Welch

George Michael Welch, 58, of Barrington, New Hampshire passed away on December 29, 2017 and is now in the arms of his Lord. He is the son of Grace (Lemist) and the late Thomas Welch Sr. He leaves his sister Mary Jean Mirdik of Charlestown, Massachusetts and is predeceased by his brother Thomas Welch, Jr. George was so proud of his Irish heritage and was affectionately known as "Fudgy" by his lifelong and devoted friends from Charlestown, Massachusetts. His passion for hunting, fishing, skiing, snow shoeing and kayaking lured him to this country setting he called home. George never quite got the "Rack" he hoped for when hunting for deer so when you see one cross your path on a dim lit road or feeding in a field, think of George! George was a Master Electrician and recently retired after 19 years with Pease Development Authority.  He loved his job and took great pride in his work.  He worked overtime during every New England snow storm, plowing the runways, replacing lights and repairing jammed...
