Gerald A. Fountaine I, 84, passed away Friday August 8, 2025, following a period of failing health.
Born October 11, 1940, in Burlington, VT, he was the son of the late George and Florence (Plankey) Fountaine. Jerry had worked for over 30 years for General Motors as a machinist. He was previously an active and devoted member of Community Baptist Church in Rochester where he served as a deacon and was very involved in various Bible studies.
Members of his family include his wife Linda (Philbrook) Fountaine of Rochester, NH; his children Angel Lane and husband Larry of VT; and Gerald Fountaine, II and wife Donna of CT; his grand children Ashlee Elizabeth, Gerald III, and Faith-Marie, seven great grandchildren, two sisters Betty-Lou and Nancy, and many nieces and nephews.
