Gerald Provencal

WAKEFIELD ; Gerald "Frank" Provencal, 75, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2009, at Huggins Hospital in Wolfeboro following a courageous battle with cancer.Born Dec. 4, 1932, in Danielson, Conn., he was the son of the late Gilbert and Gabrielle (Trahan) Provencal. Mr. Provencal served in the U.S. Army and later worked as a mason for North East Masonry for several years. He was a member of the American Legion of Rochester.Frank enjoyed gardening, assembling model airplanes, puzzles, and his lawn tractor.Members of his family include his wife of 39 years, Janet (Kullmann) Provencal of Wakefield; his stepchildren, John Logan and his wife, Norma, of Sanbornville, Rick Logan and his wife, Carol, of Ascutney, Vt., Barry Logan and his wife, Pam, of Porter, Maine, and Mylene Zdanis and her husband, Paul, of Somers, Conn.; 10 stepgrandchildren; one stepgreat-grandchild; his brother, David Provencal of Moosup, Conn.; two sisters, Rita D'Amio of Providence, R.I., and Doris Hand of Holland, Mass.; nieces and nephews.
