Geraldine Blakeney

Rochester NH-With saddened hearts we announce the passing of Geraldine Anna (Geri) Blakeney, 90, formerly of Sheridan Ave on Monday October 16, 2017 at the Dover Rehab and Living Center in Dover NH. Born September 27, 1927 in Dartmouth N.S. she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Florence (White) DeYoung. Geri has lived in Rochester most of her life.  She was employed as the Treasurer of the Rochester Fair Association.  She was a member of the Rochester Country Club where she loved to play golf.  She was Club Champion in 1971.  She also loved to watch golf on television. Besides golf she had a love of baking and was known for her pumpkin pies and her ginger snap cookies.  She also enjoyed shopping, playing cards, and spending time with loved ones. She is predeceased by her husband, Oliver Blakeney in 2004, her sisters; Joan Patterson and Shirley Manuel.
