Geraldine Chase

Rochester NH-Geraldine Chase,87, of Rochester Hill Rd died Sunday April 3, 2016 at her home after a long illness.   Born October 19, 1928 in Rochester NH she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Evelyn (Hoyt) Schafer   Geraldine has lived in Rochester all her life. She is a graduate of Spaulding High School. She worked for many years at General Electric in Somersworth but later decided to become a homemaker and care for the family business. She is a member of the First united Methodist Church in Rochester where she taught Sunday school. She enjoyed snowmobiling, ice skating and traveling to many with her husband to places such as Alaska, Norway, Fiji and other beautiful places.   Members of her family include her husband of 62 years, Bernard Chase of Rochester, her daughters; Shirley Mathews and her husband Kevin of Lebanon Me and Beverly Dahl and her husband Karl of Londonderry VT, her grandchildren; Keith Mathews and his wife Chloe of Boston, Paul Mathews and his wife Kendra of Dover and Ashley Dahl...
