Rochester, NH- Gerard "Pete" Lacroix, 88, formerly of 5 French Hussey Road died Saturday Oct. 6, 2018 at the Gafney Home after a brief period of failing health.
He was born in Rochester on August 11, 1930, the son of the late Rose (Jacques) and Pierre Lacroix.
Pete proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1951-1953. He worked as a pipefitter inspector for the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard until his retirement. Pete was a lifelong member of the Elks Lodge #1393, and the VFW and American Legion Post # 7. He enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, and was an avid sports fan.
The widower of Bernice (Evans) Lacroix, he is survived by his daughter Carol Jasinski and husband Rick of Wolfeboro, NH; granddaughter, Lisa Amero Weir and husband Patrick of North Attleboro, MA along with their children Aidan and Kaleigh; and grandson, Mark Amero and wife Carmel of Kensington, MD along with their children Izzy and Parker; brother-in-law, Cider Berry and wife Marilyn of Rochester, NH.
