Gertrude Evans

Rochester - Gertrude E. Evans, 86, passed away Wednesday June 13, 2012 at the Rochester Manor following a period of failing health. Born February 26, 1926 in Rochester, NH she was the daughter of the late Sumner Evans and Edna (MacLeod) Ratcliffe. Trudy lived the majority of her life in Rochester. She was employed by F.W. Woolworth's for most of her career. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting and word puzzles. Members of her family include her sister Bernice Lacroix and husband Pete of Rochester, NH; her half brother Cider Berry and wife Marilyn of Rochester, NH; her niece Carol Jasinski and husband Rick of Wolfeboro, NH; one great niece Lisa Weir of N. Attleboro, MA; one great nephew Mark Amero of Kensington, MD; several great great nieces and nephews. There will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of the R.M. Edgerly and Son Funeral Home, 86 S. Main St. Rochester, NH.
