Gertrude Jacobs 83 of Rochester, N.H. passed away on October 17,2023.Gertrude (Gertie) was born in Rochester, NH on September 30, 1940, toparents Ursula (Howard) and Roland Pike.Gertie grew up on a farm and always had a passion for gardening. Shelived her life gardening and working hard. Up until the last few yearsshe was always maintaining a garden at home and recently was working.in Walmart's lawn and garden tending to the flowers and plants.Gertie loved her family and friends. She always did all that she could totake care of them and help them when needed.She worked for Clarostat MFG for over 34 years, then moved onto Lindt.Chocolate Factory for a few years. She also spent a few years working atPalmer -Chenard until she moved onto Walmart where she spent the last15 plus years as a door greeter and then as a lawn and garden associatetaking care of the plants and flowers.Gertie was predeceased by her parents Ursula (Howard) and Roland Pike.Her sister Betty Frochok and husband Richard, and Louise Brown....
