Rochester- Glenn Joseph Doyle, 64, died Saturday, September 3, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family after battling cancer. Glenn was born on November 10, 1946 in Lynn, MA; the son of the late Joseph E. and Nellie (Latter) Doyle. Glenn graduated from Spaulding High School in 1966. He enlisted into the US Army and served in the Vietnam War. He retired from the NH Air National Guard in 1997, after serving 21 years. He was a skilled machinist and retired from Energy Resource Group, in Farmington. He had many loves; motorcycles, camping, traveling, and gardening. His biggest love of all was spending time with his family, his adored four grandchildren, and his dog, Brady. Family members include his wife of 28 years, Pamela (Fischbach) Doyle; his son, Keith Johnson and his wife, Cynthia, and their children, Morgan, Christopher and Kaitlyn, of Dover; his daughter, Kimberly Galimberti and her husband, Michael, and their daughter, Emilia, of Middleton; a sister, Joanne Dubois and her husband, Michael, of Milton; two brothers, Peter Doyle and his wife, Suzanne, of Farmington, and Joseph Doyle Jr. and his wife, Barbara, of Belmont, MA; a sister-in-law, Valna Doyle, of Rochester; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Glenn was predeceased by his brother Kenneth Doyle, in March 2011. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2011 from 6 PM to 8 PM at the R. M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 S. Main Street, Rochester, NH. A funeral service will be held Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 10 AM in the chapel of the R. M. Edgerly Son Funeral Home, 86 S. Main Street, Rochester, NH. Burial will follow in the Rochester Cemetery, Franklin Street, Rochester, NH.
