Harold Lloyd Jacobs was born at the family homestead in Rochester NH on June 30, 1935. He was the son of Stephen Lloyd Jacobs and Emma Smith Jacobs. He passed away peacefully at his home after a brief illness.
He graduated from Spaulding High School Class of 1953. After High School, he enlisted in the United States Army and was honorably discharged.
He married Josephine Currier in 1957 and celebrated 65 happy years together. They had one son, James Jacobs of Rochester NH.
Harold was employed by the City of Rochester for seven years, Gypsom Haulage for ten years, and Lilac City Parks and Sales for eighteen years. He was a farmer in his heart throughout his whole life. His faith and the church were an important part of his life, and he served as a deacon and trustee for many years.
He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, a brother Ronald Jacobs, a brother David Jacobs, and a nephew Eric Jacobs, all of Rochester NH.
