Harold Michael Lapian

Harold Michael Lapian, 61, of Rochester, passed away on June 25, 2023. Michael was born in June 1962 to Ben and Irene Lapian in Bandung, Indonesia and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Theology from Seminary in Jogjakarta, Indonesia. Michael met Deibi at Jogjakarta in 1988 and were married in January 1991. Michael and Deibi went on to have four children; Michelle, William, Grace, and Jordan. Beside church ministry, Michael is also one of the founders of ETSI (Evangelical Theological Seminary of Indonesia) in Central Sulawesi, Indonesia. Established in 1991. He went on to pastor and plant several churches with Presbyterian Church, GKY Indonesia and the last 20 years with Dover Christian Reformed Church, New Hampshire, and was one of the leader for South East Asian & Pacific Islander Christian Reformed Church in the East Coast.
