Helen C Marison

Rochester NH-Helen C. Marison,105 years old Formerly of Cherokee Way old died August 11, 2023, at the Birches Rehab and Living Center. Born November 15, 1917, in Barrington NH to Lindley and Mary (Lewis) Marison. Helen has lived in Rochester since 1992 after moving from South Berwick ME. She attended Coe Brown Academy class of 1936 after attending Keene Normal School where attained her bachelor's and master's degree in education. She immediately began teaching in Gonic, Northwood then here in Rochester school system in Farmington. She was a member of the retired Teachers Association. She loved to travel to Arizona and later spent her winters there, she enjoyed bowling and puttering in her garden. Members of her family include her 2 nephews: Steven Marison of Portsmouth, Mark Marison and his wife Melia of Rochester and a sister in-law, Jeanette Everson of Dover NH.
