Henry W Lizotte Jr, 71, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 24th at WDH, after a year-long battle with cancer and disabling peripheral neuropathy.
He has lived in Rochester all of his life. He served in the United States Navy where he was an Optical man, stationed at New London, CT Submarine base where he specialized in repair and replacement of periscopes. He was a Manufacturing Engineer who retired after 40 years with Vishay, formerly GFS Manufacturing in Dover, NH. He was a past member of Lighthouse Assembly of God in Rochester where he was a Deacon, Sunday-School Superintendent, and musician. He enjoyed playing guitar with his cousin, Bruce Pomerleau, and close friends; Ed Tremblay and Skip Flint, in the band Special T. Later in his retirement, he enjoyed playing guitar with The Thursday Afternoon Band, a local group of musicians. Another of his hobbies was making replica replacement guitar knobs to sell on e-bay.
