Henry C. Plimpton

Barrington- Henry C. Plimpton, JR, 87, of 89 Berry River Road died Tuesday, November 8, 2011, at the Langdon Place in Dover. Born July 2, 1924 in Gilsum, NH. He was the son of the late Henry C. and Eda M. (Messer) Plimpton, SR. Henry spent much of his life as a nursing home administrator caring for the elderly and disabled children. His later years were spent working in lawn-care with his son and enjoying his family. He will be greatly missed. Members of his family include his daughter Beverly M. Plimpton, son Brian H. Plimpton, and grandchildren Nathan H. Plimpton and Hannah M. Plimpton. He was preceded in death by his wife Medora F. Plimpton. Friends and family are invited to visit Friday, November 11, 2011, from 12PM to 1PM at the R. M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 S. Main Street, Rochester, NH 038676 A funeral service will follow at 1PM in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will be in Florida at a later date.
