Hunter Wade Canney

Rochester, NH- Hunter Wade Canney died peacefully at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME after a brief illness. Hunter was born Jan. 11, 2011 in Portland, ME. He was the son of Phillip Wade Canney, Jr. and Katherine Diane Rollins of Rochester, NH Although Hunter was only with us for a brief time, he touched many hearts and will be greatly missed. Hunter is survived by two brothers, Brady and Derek Canney; maternal grandparents, Chris and Cathy VanDoorn of Farmington, NH and Jeffrey Rollins of Somersworth, NH; paternal grandparents, John and Donna Goodwin of Farmington, NH; great grandparents, Joseph and Diane Stewart of Rochester; Richard Hebert of Jewett City, CT.; Permelia French of Lebanon, ME.; uncles, Kevin Rollins and Gage VanDoorn of Farmington, NH; Matthew Pearl of Boscawen, NH; uncle Riley and aunt Tiffany Townsend of Biddeford, ME. ;aunt Tanya Goodwin of Myrtle Beach, SC. and many great aunts and uncles who loved him very much. Hunter was predeceased by his great grandfather, Kendrick French of Lebanon, ME who couldn't wait to meet Hunter but he was also taken from us too soon. May he now hold Hunters hand for all of us who love him and will miss him. Family and friends may visit Saturday 10:00-11:00am at the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester NH. The funeral service will follow at 11:00am in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will be in Cold Spring Cemetery East Rochester NH in the spring.
