Ida Lord

ROCHESTER - Ida Lord, 80, passed away Saturday Sept. 19, 2009 at Colonial Hill Care and Rehabilitation Center of Rochester following a period of failing health.Born Dec. 6, 1928 in Milton, she was the daughter of the late James and Ruth (Wentworth) Lord.Ms. Lord was a graduate of Nute High School class of 1946. She worked as a clerk for Sears and Roebuck Co. in Rochester for many years. She was a member of the Community Church in Milton. Ida enjoyed spending time with family and friends and also enjoyed visiting nursing homes and hospitals. Members of her family include three brothers, Philip Lord of Waltham, Mass., Earl Lord and his wife Elaine of Milton, and Richard Lord of Dover; three nephews Wesley, James and Stephen Lord; and three nieces, Andrea Carey and Cynthia and Lynn Lord; she also leaves cousins and many friends.Family and friends may call Tuesday Sept. 22, 2009 from noon to 2 p.m. at the R.M.
