Inez Herries

Lebanon, ME - Inez Herries 94, passed away Thursday October 14, 2010 following a period of failing health. Born October 23, 1915 in New York City, NY she was the daughter of the late Edward and Paula Garais. Inez worked at both Hubbard Shoe and Colby Footwear as a stitcher for many years. Members of her family include her children Raymond Herries, Jr. and his wife Elma of Dover, NH; Paula Almond and her husband Lloyd of Farmington, NH; and Norma Erpenback of West Lebanon, ME; her grandchildren Raelene Turgeon, James McDonald and Mark Carmichael, five great grandchildren and two nieces Elaine Weeks and Betty Paquette. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond Herries in 2007. Her family would like to thank her daughter Norma for her care of her mother over the past 3 ½ years and also a special thanks to the Dover Wentworth Hospice for the heartfelt care and compassion especially June, David, Carol and Diane.
