Irene J. Turner

Irene J. Turner, 78, passed away Sunday June 9,2024 at Watson Fields Assisted Living Facility, followed by a period of failing health. Born August 15,1945 in Rochester, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lea (Cote) Binette. Irene was a 1965 graduate of Spaulding High School. She had worked at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard as a plastic fabricator and made model submarines.  She enjoyed gardening and provided vegetables to the community at their farm stand under the family name 'Binette's Farm' for 26 years with her husband Floyd. Over the years Irene and her husband enjoyed traveling and visited 49 states with their truck and camper. Members of her family include her daughter, Wendy Dowaliby of Rochester, NH.; her grandchildren Trevor, Hannah, Dylan, and Jessica, and her great grandchildren Abel, Aceson, Allie, Zayla and Zoey, as well as several nieces and nephews, and cousins.
