Berwick, ME - Irving D. Potter, 94, passed away Saturday October 1, 2016 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital following a period of failing health. Born January 23, 1922 in Abbot, ME, he was the son of the late Delmont and Helen (Perkins) Potter. Mr. Potter had retired from General Electric after 20 years of employment. He was a member of the NRA, and the Berwick Sportsman's Club. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, tying flies, gardening, making his own apple cider, reading, spending time with his family, and playing the harmonica. He loved telling jokes, stories from the past, and all animals specifically his beagle Tootsie. Members of his family include his children Irving Potter, Jr. of Steep Falls, ME; Robert Potter of Saco, ME; and Janet Brown of Barrington, NH; 8 grandchildren 12 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Elsie Potter, his daughter Agnes Goodwin, and three brothers Linwood, Kenneth, and Harold Potter. A private graveside...
