J. Barry Baughman

Rochester - James Barry Baughman, 76, passed away Thursday July 21, 2011 at his home following a period of failing health. Born May 29, 1935 in Greensburg, PA, he was the son of the late Chesterfield and Sarah (DeWeese) Baughman and was predeceased by his brother, Col. Robert C. Baughman, USMC (Ret). Mr. Baughman served in the US Army before beginning his banking career in Boston, MA and continuing as a commercial loan officer in Rochester, NH with Bank East and South East Bank. He also enjoyed working with his many friends at Sherwin Williams. He was a member of the Rochester Rotary, and he enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and history. Members of his family include his wife of 43 years Marie Baughman of Rochester, NH; his children Melinda Baughman and husband Garth Shaneyfelt of Greenfield, MA; and Kristin Martin of Gonic, NH; two grandchildren Dustin and Brady Martin, his brother Richard D.
