ROCHESTER - J. Rene F. Dupré, 91, of 33 Brook Farm Village, died Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009, at the Rochester Manor.Born Aug. 7, 1918, in Leicester, Mass., he was the son of the late Wilfred N. and Aline M. (Papillon) Dupré.In his retirement years, Rene enjoyed puttering in his yard, square and ballroom dancing, which included the Annual Snow Ball in Punta Gorda, as well as traveling throughout the U.S. and Canada visiting family and friends.Members of his family include his wife of six years, Barbara Holding of Rochester; his daughter, Cheryl Leva of Massachusetts; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren, as well as his stepchildren, Blaine W. Holding and wife, Bonnie, of Maine and Theresa H. Betts and husband, Robert, of Rochester. He was predeceased by his sister, Florid Sentaro.Friends and family may visit Wednesday, Aug. 19, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the R. M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 S. Main St., Rochester.
