Dover, NH- James O. Demko, 77, of 2 Elmview Circle died Saturday Nov. 25, 2017 at his home after a period of failing health. He was born April 11, 1940 in Skowhegan, ME, the son of the late George and Mildred (MacFarland) Demko. Jim was a graduate of Bingham High School in Bingham, ME and worked 40 years an electrician for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 490 of Concord, NH. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the Dover American Legion. Jim was an avid Yankees and Giants fan. A very giving, honest and caring man he especially loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Members of his family include his wife of 35 years, Kathleen (Jacobs) Demko; son, William Malsbury and wife Karla, Dover; daughter, Tracey Morrison, Dover; grandchildren, Nicholas Malsbury and companion Harlee Caron, Katelyn Malsbury, Tyler Malsbury, Anya and Mary Zlotosch; brother-in-law John Jacobs and wife Harriet; sister-in-law, Jean Sidilou; cousins. He was preceded in death by sister, Joyce Sawyer, and nephew Brian. Family and friends may visit Friday Dec. 1, 2017 from 2-4 PM at the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester, NH. A Celebration of Life will follow at 4PM in the chapel of the funeral home.
