James J. Kitts

Rochester - James J. Kitts, 54, passed away Saturday June 22, 2024, at the Hyder Family Hospice House following a heroic battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He was born June 15, 1970, in Yonkers, NY, the son of William Kitts and Cathy (Murchie) Kitts. Jim was always an avid car guy and loved to play video games with friends and family. He was an auto mechanic at VIP for several years, and before that at BJs and Sears. When he was younger, he had been involved in Autocross Racing. Members of his family include his wife Jessica Colwell of Rochester, NH, his children Mandi Martinez Morales and husband Eduardo of Grand Prairie, TX, Michael Silva of Pittsfield, ME and Joseph Kitts and wife Kristen of Lewiston, ME ~ two stepchildren Samantha Colwell of Biddeford, ME, Sarah Colwell of Berwick, ME and seven grandchildren.
