James A. Laprade

Farmington, NH- James Alexander "Jimmy" LaPrade, 33, of 27 Oakwood Road was taken from us on Wednesday March 15, 2017 as a result of a homicide.  He was born June 7, 1983 in Worcester, MA the son of James R. LaPrade, Jr. and Alida Bermingham LeVier. He was a Marine Infantry Platoon Sergeant in the U.S. Marines, serving one tour of duty in Iraq and one in Afghanistan.  Jimmy has worked as a power plant operator for Eversource in Newington and previously Sprague Energy. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed skiing, hiking MT. Major, sailing and motorcycle riding. He especially loved his family and his dog "Koda".
