James Nichols

Rochester NH- James Nichols, 91, formerly of Warren Street East Rochester NH died Thursday May 13, 2010 at the Rochester Manor . He was born June 23, 1918 in Claremont, NH the son of the late James and Fanny (Young) Nichols. James served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII in the medical corps. He has resided in this area most of his life and had worked for several cemetery associations as a grave digger. His hobby was watching stock car racing. Members of his family include his sister Avis Coiro of Burlington, VT.; and niece Sandra Childs of York, ME; grandniece Wanda Kezar and her husband Timothy of North Berwick, ME. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held Tuesday May 18, 2010 at 11:30AM at Old Cold Spring Cemetery in East Rochester NH. Arrangements are under the care of the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester NH.
