James Pate, 70, of Farmington passed away peacefully at home on July 14.
Jim was born to James and Eleanor Pate. He grew up with three sisters and two brothers. They lived many places during their childhood as his dad was a career veteran in the army.
Jim married Debbie Costantino and had one daughter, Mary. Jim also joined the army and served as a morse code interceptor. He then became an electrician where he worked at Textron/Collin and Aikman and at Velcro USA before retiring. In every job he did, he maintained a high standard of excellence by showing attention to detail.
In Jim’s spare time he enjoyed watching Jeopardy!, UNH Hockey, and the Boston Red Sox. He also enjoyed fishing, golfing, and taking trips with his family. While attending True Memorial Baptist Church and Durham Evangelical Church, he enjoyed working with the Boys’ Brigade group.
A private family memorial will be held.
