Alton Bay - James A. Waterhouse, 94, formerly of Alton Bay, NH passed away Sunday March 27, 2016 at the Clipper Harbor Home in Portsmouth, NH following a period of failing health. Born June 17, 1921 in Sanford, ME he was the son of the late Alfred and Hazel Waterhouse. Mr. Waterhouse served in the US Army during WWII. He began his automotive career as a body man and painter and later worked as a salesman for the Chevrolet Franchise in Rochester including Farmer Motor Sales, Wyman's, and Dick Poulin Chevrolet where he worked until he retired. Jim loved spending time with his family, he enjoyed racing cars when he was younger and watching later on. Working in his garage, yard and garden and playing pool with the family. He was also an active member of the PTA in Lebanon, Maine when the Lebanon Elementary school was built in 1953.
