South Berwick, ME - Jamie Stockford, 45, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday August 7, 2024, at Wentworth Douglass hospital following a sudden illness that she was not able to recover from. She leaves behind a devastated family.
Born November 25, 1978, in Portsmouth, NH she was the daughter of Wayne Michael Stockford and the late Joan (Benham) Vachon.
Jamie enjoyed listening to music, playing softball, cooking and most of all spending time with her family. Her laugh was contagious. She was naturally so funny. She had a unique skill of remembering every street name in Rochester and remembered everyone she ever met. Jamie loved her family deeply. She was the light of her family.
Members of her family include her children Devin Tetu and husband David of South Berwick, ME; Natasha Kuchman of South Berwick, ME; and Maximus Kuchman of Barrington, NH; her grandchildren Dakota, Kendra, Charleigh, Ryder and Mason, her stepfather Joseph "Marty" Vachon, Jr. of Lebanon, ME; two sisters Jenny McCarthy of Raymond, ME; and Carrie Crockett and her life partner Chris Couillard of Lebanon, ME; she leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her mother Joan Vachon and her brother Joseph M. Vachon, III.
Family and friends may visit Sunday August 18, 2024, from 2PM - 3PM at the R. M. Edgerly and Son Funeral Home, 86 S. Main St. Rochester, NH.
A memorial service will be held at 3PM in the chapel of the funeral home.
