Jane Lancaster Thompson

Barrington, NH- Jane Lancaster Thompson, 76, of 69 Boulder Drive died Thursday April 6, 2017 at the Rochester Manor. She was born Jan. 25, 1941 in Natick, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late John L. and Helene (Millett) Benvie. Jane has resided in this area since 2013 previously living in Myrtle Beach, SC where she worked as a retail manager for Yankee Candle for 20 years. In her earlier years Jane enjoyed knitting, sewing and was an avid reader. She especially loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Members of her family include her son, Drescott Thompson III, of Gales Ferry, CT; her daughter, Gayle Perreault and husband Steve of Barrington, NH; grandchildren, Lauren, Daniel and Benjamin Perreault. Family and friends may visit Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 2-4PM at the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester, NH with a service to follow at 4 in the chapel of the funeral home.
