Janet Pelley

ROCHESTER - Janet Ruth (Lambert) Pelley, 84, of 68 Olde Farm Lane, died peacefully, with family by her side, at Frisbie Memorial Hospital, on Thursday, December 29th.   Born in Rochester, NH, July 21, 1932, the daughter of the late Ruth O. (Veno) Tuttle and Joseph Lambert. Janet graduated from Spaulding High School. After graduation Janet worked at General Electric and married her high school sweetheart, Bill Pelley. Janet and Bill were married for 58 years when Bill passed away in 2010.   Janet enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends. She loved attending shows at the Rochester Opera House, going to the movies and out to eat, and her trips to the casino. She was a past President of the Rochester Emblem Club and Order of Women Legislatures (OWL). As a member of the Business & Professional Women, she was elected Woman of Achievement in 1991 and 1998.
