Janet Schaaf

Sanford, ME - Janet (Orr) Schaaf, 64, passed away Sunday October 27, 2013 at the Hyder Family Hospice House following a valiant fight against leukemia Born April 18, 1949 in Rockport, MA she was the daughter of the late Edmund and Margaret (Keating) Orr. After High School she completed Nursing School and worked localy at the Gafney home and later as a counselor for Counseling Services Inc. in Biddeford, ME. Janet was an artist who loved to paint, write, sew, knit and crochet, but above all she loved antiques and had owned and operated her own antique store in York Maine (Orr-Iginals) at one time. Members of her family include her children Timothy Schaaf and wife Lynn of Lebanon, ME; Dylan Schaaf of Gonic, NH; James Schaaf of Dover, NH; and Suzanne Schaaf of Dover, NH; and her grandchildren Mackenzie, Bowen, and Aiden Orr of Lebanon, ME; She was predeceased by her two brothers Arthur and Phillip Orr and her soul mate Kent Lewis A memorial service will be held Sunday November 3, at 2PM at the York-Ogunquit...
