Rochester - Jason Gayland Fogg, age 81 years, of 36 Farmington Rd, Rochester, N.H. died on Feb. 2, 2015 at the Strafford County Riverside Rest Home in Dover, N.H, where he had been a resident for 48 days. He had been in declining health for the past year. Jason was born on May 7, 1933 at Crystal, Aroostook County, Maine, the tenth of eleven children born to Jerome and Alice Tucker Fogg. He moved to Auburn Maine about 1945 with other family members. He attended schools in Crystal and Auburn, Maine .He also lived in Chicago, Il for a year, where he worked at the General Motors Locomotive Division, and also had a lunch truck route. In1953 he was drafted into the U.S. Army and served two years. His overseas duty was attached to the 97th Engineer Battalion as a Heavy Equipment Operator rebuilding roads in France .
