Jean Cook

Jean L Cook passed peacefully on February 14th with her children around her. She is predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Robert H. Cook, her sister Marion (Elliott) Chase, her sister Doris M. (Elliott) Brown and her brother Leon D. Elliott. She is survived by her six children, Timothy (Tina), Brenda, Stephanie (Tish), Stephen, Thomas, Rebecca (Kelly), two grandchildren and three brothers, Clifton Elliott, Clayton Elliott and David Elliott (Ann). She has many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Jean always said she lived a good life, and she did. In her younger years, she taught kindergarten. She then raised her children and cared for many more children in the neighborhood. She will be remembered for her cooking, baking, canning, sewing, knitting and much more. She enjoyed traveling and visited many cities throughout the world with her husband and family. She attended church weekly and was well known for the mittens she knit for the community.
