Jean Johnstone

Rochester, NH- Jean Johnstone, 84, of Lynn Lane passed away Friday Oct. 9, 2020 at Carriage Hill Assisted Living after a period of failing health. She was born July 7, 1936 in Lynn, MA, the daughter of the late Donald and Alice (Marquis) Curran. She has resided in Rochester since 2001. She started her career in accounting at Allied Gas Company in Portsmouth, NH. Jean loved dogs and especially enjoyed reading, gardening, and dancing. Most of all, she loved her grandson Lucas. Members of her family include her loving husband of 65 years, William Johnstone; daughters, Janis and husband Bill Belmont and their son Lucas, all of Berwick, ME., Jill Johnstone of Rochester, NH; sister, Carol Breton of Florida. Jean was predeceased by her son Donald Johnstone and sister Donna Flanagan. In an effort to reduce the spread of Covid-19, the family has decided to have a service at a later date.
