Jean Baker Quinn

Rochester NH - Jean Baker Quinn, age 80, went to Heaven Sunday June 25, 2017 at the Gafney Home of Rochester.She was born May 5, 1937 in Wilmington, MA to the late Manning and Helen (Smith) Balcom.Jean graduated from Wilmington High School Class of 1955. She married Wesley H. Baker in 1956 and moved to Dover, NH where they raised their three children. On April 2, 1985 Wes passed away from cancer age 47. Jean spent the next nine years helping to raise her grandchildren Lynsay, Corey, and Annie Baker; and Swayzie and Zachary Plante. On April 9, 1994, Jean married William F. Quinn. Jean loved walking, feeding the birds, housekeeping, cooking and baking.Jean is survived by her children Jerry Baker and wife Colleen, Linda Hennessey and husband Don, and Cheryl Kresco and husband Matt, Bill Quinn and wife Janet, and Madeline Cashman and husband Brian; her step-grandchildren Keith, Kerri, Emily, and Patrick; her sister Alvis Allard; her sisters childred Jean, Keith, and Laurie. Jean was also predeceased by her brother John Balcom, Wesley Baker, William Quinn Sr. 2008, and her grandson Corey Wesley Baker 2016.The family thanks the staff of the Gafney Home for their kindness and compassion through the past 5 years, and the nurses from hospice care. She will be interred at Wildwood Cemetery in Wilmington, MA at a later date.
