Jeanne Carlin

ROCHESTER Jeanne Carlin, 86, passed away Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, at the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover following a brief illness. Born July 23, 1923 in Albany, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lydia (Rohloff) Kendrick. Mrs. Carlin worked as a clerk for the Department of Motor Vehicles for the state of New York for many years. Members of her family include her husband, William Carlin of Rochester; one son, Larry White of Wappingers Falls, N.Y.; two stepsons, Daniel Carlin of Eagen, Minn., and Brian Carlin of St. Louis, Mo.,; one stepdaughter, Beth Carlin of Tucson, Ariz.; three grandchildren, Laurie Ducharme, Joey and Melissa White; one brother, Vincent Kendrick of Albany, N.Y., and one sister, Mary Travis of Melbourne, Fla.; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Family and friends may visit Sunday, Oct. 25, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the R.M. Edgerly and Son Funeral Home, 86 S. Main St., Rochester. A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
